Kid's Box 3 Activity Book pages 22-24

Students should complete ONE page every night (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in order to keep pace with the classwork. 

For example - 

Tuesday: Page 22
Wednesday: Page 23
Thursday: Page 24

This way they can see if they have questions for me BEFORE homework is due at the end of the week.  I will check each day to see they have done the correct page.

Homework Week of 10/24-28

Kid's Box 3 Activity Book pages 16-18 were due Monday, October 23 
Pages 19-21 are for this week

New Homework Policy

Due to the the large number of students who fail to complete homework every week, I am changing my homework policy.

Starting the week after exams (Oct. 17-21) any student who does not finish their homework BEFORE class on Friday will miss the after-school club time.  Instead, they will go to another classroom to complete their homework.

I give the new assignment on TUESDAYS and it's due on FRIDAYS so the students have enough time to finish it, and to ask questions if they don't understand. Excuses like "I forgot to bring it home" or "I cannot" will no longer be accepted as reasons for unfinished homework.

Start homework early in the week, and finish on time!

The following students had unfinished homework at the beginning of my class today:

1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 23

Exam 1

Exam 1 for English Conversation will be on Friday, October 14, 2011.

Students should study the Intro Unit and Unit 1 in their textbook, as well as the corresponding activities in the workbook.  They should pay close attention to things they got WRONG, as those are more likely to end up on the exam.
